I am Simone Lourens, a Yoga teacher from New Zealand. I discovered yoga after years of playing competitive contact sport which left me sore and stiff, with an injury hangover.
I teach a broad range of yoga styles, and my teaching philosophy is to make yoga fun and accessible to everyone, from beginner to advanced levels, so everyone can enjoy the benefits of yoga. From strengthening and gaining movement in the body lost to injury, to overcoming stress, depression and other mental challenges. I believe with more awareness, through yoga we can be more mindful of our everyday habits, and become kinder to ourselves, each-other, and the planet!Top
